In some parts of the Geopark you will hear the Welsh Language being spoken.  When exploring the Geopark keep a look out for the Welsh place names.

There are many myths and legends attached to the landscape of the Geopark. Tales of bottomless lakes that are linked to the fairy world and stories of King Arthur and his knights sleeping away the centuries in caves.
