Description

The rocks of this spectacular cove are Devonian age sandstones and conglomerates on one side faulted against Ordovician volcanic and sedimentary rocks on the other. The pock marked holes in the cliffs are horizontal mine shafts known as adits which show case the mining heritage of the area.
