The Minerals Centre is a special place and the ideal starting point before beginning exploring the western part of the Armorique Geopark. This site, created in 1987, offers a permanent exhibition about Armorican geology, reference collections, and a discovery garden on geological heritage and quarries of Brittany. Teams composed of activity-leader geologists propose an annual programme of activities on site and in the field for the enjoyment of schoolchildren and informed amateurs. The site is located close to the footpath of the peninsula and represents a starting point for a walk to the cliffs of Crozon.
